I am a product designer and passionate about my craft.
I am an optimist, a father and a ferocious coffee drinker. I love to be challenged and solve design problems with vigor. Being a multipotentialite is my greatest strength and at the same time, my greatest weakness. But as such, I’m always willing to learn something new and explore new technologies.
I have acquired a variety of uniqe experiences as a sales manager, Peace Corps Volunteer, and ESL teacher for young learners. As a teacher for 7 years, I learned how to empathically cater my lessons to each individual child, their learning style, interests and abilities and went on to develop a small business in Taiwan. It's been an iterative journey that has helped me become an innovative designer.
I hold a bachelor’s degree from the University of Minnesota. You may often find me playing the guitar, learning more about human centered design, drawing, reading, studying Mandarin or simply enjoying a good walk.
